HOW TO MAKE AEROPRESS AT HOME - HOME BARISTA
Talking about Alternative Brewing , Aeropress is another best option to start up with Home Barista.
Invented in 2005 by Alan Adler , Aerpress is a manual brewing process which is forced through a filter by pressing the plunger through the tube.
Today we are explaining about the simple steps on how to make the Aeropress at home But before that lets get to know the equipments:
For this, You will need:
AEROPRESS
HOT WATER (90 – 95 degree celcius)
WEIGHING SCALE (If available)
FILTER PAPER
COFFEE BEANS (depending on your profiles)
Step 1
Weigh out 15–20 grams of coffee (depending on your preferred strength). Grind to a texture slightly finer.
Step 2
Insert a paper filter into the AeroPress’s detachable plastic cap.
Step 3
Wet the filter paper and Cap.
Step 4
Put the ground Coffee.
Step 5
Add water twice the weight than you have grounds (e.g., for 15 grams coffee, add 30 grams water).
Step 6
Stir It
Step 7
Lock the cap and flip the aeropress.
Step 8
Press it downward and ENJOY
(Note: We haven’t mentioned the timer for the brewing process. If you would like you can use the timer as well 🙂 After the saturation you can rinse it for a minute before flipping it )
